The Magical Snæfellsjökull National park tour

Experience the magical wonders of Snæfellsnes.

The Snæfellsjökull National Park on the Snæfellsnes peninsula is often described as a miniature version of Iceland because of the diverse scenery and landscapes that it offers. This spectacular area has been the scene for many local legends and was even the inspiration for Jules Verne’s 1864 science fiction novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. Snæfellsnes has both white and black sandy beaches, cliffs full of nesting seabirds, lakes full of trout and rivers full of salmon, towering mountains, volcanic craters and charming fishing villages. The jewel in the crown is the Snæfellsjökull glacier atop a dormant volcano, 1446 m high.

We visit all of the most known tourist attraction in Snæfellsnes and some hidden gems as well.

Our first stop is at Hótel Rjúkandi  which is about one hour and forty five minutes from Reykjavík, here  you are able to get some great coffee an refreshments and get ready for our adventure.
